Method	Information about protected on-farm habitat, that is, areas set aside from intensive farming, are mapped automatically from time-series of satellite imagery. The proportion of each plot that is being accounted for as a habitat zone is tracked in the natural capital account. Areas countable as protected on-site habitat areas in cropland settings are forests, tree-cover, water bodies and set-aside grassland areas. In grassland settings these zones contain forests, tree-cover and water bodies.
